Hello, I'm Liam
I'm a project manager, a parent, and an expat currently based in Springfield, United States.
A while back I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually became a new chapter living overseas.
How It Started
Moving to United States wasn't part of the long-term plan. Like many expat moves, it started as a work opportunity and soon grew into something far bigger.
The first months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks seemed more complicated than they needed to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. Over time, routines took shape. We found places that suited us, connected with other families, and began building something that felt secure.
Why I Built Sunset Cipher Meadow
Most online information was either corporate relocation advice or shallow tourism material. What was missing was a frank, everyday family perspective.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance grounded in real life in United States.
